thought i should post an update lets see how it goes :P
So I made it to Vancouver after a long long 12 hour bus ride that had a creaming 18month old throughout the WHOLE TRIP! My iPod saved me from going mental, but I made it. On Saturday my mission was to find a bed, so with Robyn's elite driving skills and navigation we ended up in Langley at the Sleep Country there. I was able to get a double pillow-top bed, boxspring and frame for 550 with free delivery. I do not get it until thursday so I am sleeping on the couch for a few days. Then we went to Ikea. I didnt buy to much from there but I did get some pretty face clothes and matching shower curtain. As we were shopping I kept an eye out for a fan, because it is super hot and we do not have air conditioning. Now retailers are clearing out all of their summer items and starting to get the fall stuff in, so no fans everywhere we went.  I was getting worried and frustrated. so we passed on looking for fans, for now. Later  Robyn and I went to this market that sold fruits and veggies for super super cheap, so we loaded up on goodies.

That night we went to the Richmond Night market and it was such a gorgeous night to go too. It was so neat to see! so much different foods available and vendors. Just amazing. I highy recommend people to go if you havn't before. Natalie even met us there which was awesome! I haven't seen her in years so it was really great for her to come out.

Sunday, finding a fan was the first priority. So we went into Home Depot not holding out much hope and what to we see a stack of fans that people were grabbing. I basically walked in the store saw the fans and beelined right to them lol. mission accomplished. Now all I have left is to find a dresser. Robyn randomly checked Craigslist as i was on Kijiji and saw someone had just posted a free dresser over by East Hastings (the good side close to where Amelia lives). We go and find it and its still there but wouldn't fit into the car :( oh well. ill just keep an eye out for it.

Right now Im about to head out to BCIT to get my student card and transit passes. after that I am just going to wander around and take some pictures. When it gets to hot Ill pop  back to the apartment. Oh and sometime my packages will arrive so i shall have to pick them up later tonight if they are available.

Stuff i need to do before moving:

-Find place (lol dar)
-make bank appointment to see how much of a line of credit i can get (if any) yay $5000
- talk to the EI people to see if I qualify for some EI while i go to school, since I wont be working ( i think, thats still up in the air) with 10 classes in a freaking semester (gulp)
-apply for student loan (hopefully soon once the government updates their site...)
- figure out what i am bringing down and how to get it there. (thinking rent-a-wreck truck, uhaul is expensive..)
-sell my car... thinking somewhere in the price range of $4-5000 just dont know yet (ill miss it though, anyone want a good car?? no? yes?)
-pay tuition by July (stupid needing to pay early)
-buy a new laptop since the one i have wont run the software (urg hello ArcGis and your evil RAM requirments)  i need for the program, and hey its a requirement so I just have to get one..
-pack, DONT FORGET BIKE! (gonna need it.)
- SEE EVERYONE AND HAVE A GIANT PARTY WHERE I GET REALLY REALLY SMASHED AND EMOTIONAL (duh)
-learn python, java script, .Net Framework etc before September.
- refresh my maths and stuff
- drive on down!
- oh ya call Telus with new address so i wont be charged long distance
-all the change address stuffs, etc
- GO TO IKEA! hahahaha ya i cant wait for that one

going to stop now, i know there is more i just cant think of anything atm.

so i totally finished my last paper of my undergrad YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just have 2 finals and then i am officially DONE!
